| The Library new initiative – Friend’s Corner was inaugurated in the Book Bank on 25th April, 2019 by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Pro-Vice Chancellor accompanied by other distinguished guests. A large number of donated books related to engineering and allied subjects are displayed and made available at the Friend’s Corner shelves. Students and Faculty members of the University can get books of their interest as complimentary for their personal use |  |
| World Book and Copyright Day was celebrated on 25th April 2019 in collaboration with Pakistan Library Club, HQ (PLC).Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Tufail of NED University of Engineering & Technology was the Chief Guest to grace the event.Former Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. S. Farooq Ahmed Rafeeqi of NED University of Engineering & Technology was the guest speaker. Our prestigious guest reveals their interest for the book reading and mentioned that this day provides an opportunity to reflect together on ways to better disseminate the culture of the written word and to allow all individuals to access it. |  |
| Library Orientation sessions for new entrants of Batch 2019-20 was conducted in the main auditorium of the University on 17th October, 2019. The event was conducted by the Library in Five different sessions, which was attended by students and Class Advisors. The audience appreciated the efforts of library to make them aware of the Library resources, facilities and services. |  |
| The Library organized its Annual Book Fair on 4th & 5th November, 2019. Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail inaugurated the event with other dignitaries of the University. Leading Book selling companies of the country exhibited their collections related to engineering, science & technology, social sciences and Islamic literature etc. The book fair was well attended and appreciated; several useful titles were selected for as a result of the tremendous event. A large number of faculty members and students visited the Book Fair. |  |
