| The Library facilitated the NED Academy by Meezan Justuju Programme A Certified Training Programme Sponsored by Meezan Bank and providing NED Digital Library services for conducting 06 months certified training programmes initiated by Meezan Bank in partnership with the NED Academy. The two training programmes titled “Mobile Application Developer” and “Database Administrator” were started for the students in August, 2024 and completed by January, 2025. Total 120 students from low privileged areas of Karachi participated in the above courses. |  |
| Ms. Huma Sardar, Ag. Librarian, Syed Basit Ali, Deputy Librarian, Mr. M. Farooq Khan and Ms. Nazia Sami, Assistant Librarians visited the Department of Architecture and Planning at the City Campus on 4th February, 2025. The purpose of revisiting the Campus Library was to get updates on development works and discussed the matter related to City Campus Library with the Chairperson and Mr. M. Zaheer, Assistant Librarian. Later on, the discussed matter was reported to the PVC/CLC. |  |
| A delegation from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for PEC Accreditation of the undergraduate Petroleum Engineering Programme of the University visited the Library on 7th February, 2025. During their visit, a brief presentation containing library resources, services and facilities was delivered. The team also visited different sections of the Library and closely observed activities therein and appreciated. |  |
